For My Kids and My Gadget
I can still remember when I was young, no one can buy me toys on my own pleasure even on my birthday. My mother doesn’t have enough money to buy my favorite toys because she only budgeted the money my father gave to her for the expenses in our family. And even my brother can’t afford to buy me toys, he has already his family at that time although he is working. For me to have something to play, I often go to our neighbors and play with my cousins the way they played their toys. Sometimes I used to borrow them when they are out.
But now that I have my own family with two children, I often tell this story with them. I even make them think and understand that not all kids were lucky to afford them toys. For them they are still lucky because I can afford them to buy their desired toys even as not as cheap. Last time I bought them a play station for them to play and enjoy. They really appreciated my gift for them and telling me that they will always take good care of their gift. Of course I bought also mine.
